2019 Honda Insight Trim Level Comparison 

There are three trim levels for the 2019 Honda Insight. The base trim level is called the 2019 Honda Insight LX, and it has a starting Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $22,930. The middle trim level is the EX, and it has a starting MSRP of $24,160. The highest trim level is the Touring, and it has a starting MSRP of $28,190. * 

Each of the three trim levels of the 2019 Honda Insight has an in-line, 4-cylinder engine that has a net horsepower rating of 107 at 6,000 rpm. All of the trim levels have a 3-Mode Drive System with ECON, Sport, and EV drive modes. The EX and Touring trim levels both have a Remote Engine Start feature which allows you to start your vehicle from a distance, which is very convenient if you want the engine to warm up before you start driving. 

The 2019 Honda Insight LX and EX trim levels have an estimated fuel economy of 55 mpg in the city and 49 mpg on the highway which comes out to a 52-mpg combined rating. The Touring trim level has a fuel economy rating of 51 mpg in the city and 45 mpg on the highway for a combined rating of 48 mpg. All of the trim levels have the same active and passive safety features, but the LX is lacking the Honda LaneWatch ™ system, which is present on both the EX and the Touring trim levels.
