Is a three-row SUV going to be your next vehicle purchase? Then you likely have some research to do and at Honda Santa Maria, we are here to help. We may be a little biased, but the Pilot is what we would recommend. See how it stacks up against one of the three-row SUVs from Chevrolet with our 2021 Honda Pilot vs 2021 Chevrolet Traverse comparison. Adaptive cruise control is a modern feature that comes standard on the 2021 Pilot and is only available on the 2021 Chevrolet Traverse at higher trim levels. What it allows you to do is set your desired speed, just like normal cruise control, but the difference here is that the system can see the road ahead and slow your speed to the speed of traffic. When traffic is no longer a speed impediment, it will resume the previously set speed.
Push-button start is another convenient feature. You don’t have to dig in your pockets or your purse fumbling for your keys when you get inside. You simply have to have the key on you and push a button on the car. LED headlights are another nice feature to have since they will give you a better view of the road and even typically last longer than traditional headlights.
One last point in favor of the 2021 Pilot is the impressive towing capability that it gets standard. Additionally, if you upgrade to a 2021 Pilot model with all-wheel drive, you will get up to 5,000 pounds of towing capability.
